If you are running short on time, you can always come as a generic alien.   Many local costume shops have some pretty neat alien costumes and masks out right now for Halloween, and  you can always wear these again later this month!

Books with LOTS of great pictures  -  The Star Wars Visual Dictionary and the Star Wars Episode 1 Visual Dictionary are great sources of high quality pictures of costumes, characters, and gadgets from the Star Wars films.  These books can be purchased online directly from DK publishing or at your favorite local or online bookstore.   These books typically run about $15-$20, but I have seen them on sale as low as $5 occasionally.  A definite must-have for true Star Wars fans!
