We reserved a block of rooms at a discount rate for October 6th & 7th, 2000 at the Courtyard by Marriott on South Acadian, in Baton Rouge.  

Many of our guests stayed at this hotel and scared other hotel visitors with their costumes... =)    Me and Ben actually got dressed there as well (in separate rooms of course!).

The rest of the information on this page has become static and is no longer valid as of the wedding date (10/7/00), and is just kept here for historical/scrapbook purposes....

If you need accommodations in Baton Rouge for the wedding and would like to take advantage of these discount rates, please follow the directions below:

Dial 225-924-6400 or 1-800-321-2211.   

Some guests have had problems with the people at the 1-800 # telling them that the rooms are all booked - don't believe them!   If you have this problem call the other (Baton Rouge) number.   If you still have problems, ask for Lara, Catherine, or Chris and let me know about it!

Ask the agent for the BABIN EFTING group or BABS code
 

3.

Rates are :

  - $65.00 per night for single or double occupancy

  - $79 per night for a suite.

  - 13% tax rate  

 

4.

 Please make your reservations at least three weeks prior to your arrival date.   Requests will be honored on a first come first serve basis.
