Want to get a Star Wars costume for the wedding, but don't know where to find one??

Check out the links below for some websites that carry Star Wars costumes and props.   If you find any other good websites that carry Star Wars costumes that I do not have listed, please send me the web address, and I will add them to the list!!

PLEASE remember to REFRAIN from wearing any costumes already "taken" by the wedding party!!!

CLICKET.com  offers Episode 1 and Classic Star Wars costumes from "Rubie's" costume distributor.   This is the company I ordered my dress from, and they are offering a 10% discount on costumes for the wedding.  E-mail me if you would like  info on how to get the discount.  They can also get any other costumes that Rubie's makes (even if they are not shown on the web page).  Check out Rubie's website for pictures of all of their available costumes.

Don Post Studios offers a wide range of masks and helmets that vary in quality from latex toy store quality, to very authentic (and expensive), collector quality replicas.  Unfortunately, you can not order costumes from them directly...  However, there are a number of local stores and internet sites that carry Don Post Masks.

SHOP.STARWARS.COM is the official Star Wars merchandise headquarters.   Surprisingly, they don't seem to have as much costume selection as some other sites, but they do have lots of other merchandise and sometimes have good sales.
Rubie's Costumes is the manufacturer for "official" Star Wars costumes (i.e. they have a license from Lucasfilms).   However, they do not sell their products to individuals directly, but you can check out pictures of all of their costumes on their website and then order the costumes from Clicket.com or other Rubie's vendors.

Diva II Theatrical Solutions is a Houston area business that specializes in the design and construction of theatrical, dance, masquerade,  historically accurate, and Star Wars wedding costumes... ;-)   So, if you are having problems finding the costume you want, and would like to have one custom made, contact Pat Covington at Diva Two.

This is a page on About.com that contains lots of useful tips and links for creating your own Star Wars costumes.

Got sticker shock after seeing the prices on some of the costumes available online?    Check out E-bay for collectible Don Post Masks at bargain prices.   You can search on "Don Post" or "Star Wars masks" and find lots of goodies...  However, be sure to check out Don Post's website first to be sure that you are actually getting a good deal on E-bay - sometimes people actually pay MORE for stuff on E-bay if they are not aware of  the actual retail price  of an item!!!
