January 26th, 2002 - Closeup of bottom of waste water pipe in guest bedroom, which protrudes approximately 2" into the living space. We have no idea how they are going to fix this! In addition to the bottom protruding out, they also cut a huge notch through two boards in the ceiling where this pipe goes up to the bathroom upstairs. Since this is a load bearing corner wall, we are also concerned about the fact that the top plate has been notched out so far. This is one of two issues we would really like to have an independent engineer look at before sheetrock is installed.
