January 23rd, 2002 - House fails "cover" inspection again. This time I met the city inspector at the house, and showed him a couple of things that our private inspector pointed out. Actually, I mainly just wanted to ask him questions about some of the issues that the inspector brought up, but that the builder disagrees with. I was hoping the inspector would be able to give an educated neutral opinion. He was very nice and was a big help. We are down to a list of 14 items now.
